Barry M Gelly Hi-Shine: Greenberry

For today’s post I am sharing the second of my two new Barry M purchases: Gelly Hi-Shine in Greenberry!

If you are a regular reader then you will know what a massive fan I am of Barry M polishes, especially their Gelly Hi-Shine range of which I have 7. And now they have 4 new shades for spring/summer! Lychee (a pretty neutral shade), Dragonfruit (a vibrant creamy pink), Papaya (a bold orange) and Greenberry (a stunning pastel green/turquoise).

Looking at them online I was unsure which I’d choose to buy first because they are all wonderful colours but when I saw them in boots on Monday I just knew I had to have the Greenberry. It really caught my eye and as I don’t have any polish like it I decided this would be a good addition to my gelly collection.

 

Just like the other gelly shades the formula is easy to work with, goes on smoothly and dries to a super glossy finish. However, this particular colour does have a thicker consistency and needed two coats for full coverage.

 

I adore this shade so much. It’s bold but the cream base makes it very wearable. And I love how it looks slightly neon in certain lights. I look forward to using this in some nail art soon! I think this will make for some perfect summery designs. :)
