If you have a dog then this post is for you!
I was recently given the chance to review some doggy bath products and after reading a little about the company and what they do I knew it was definitely something I was interested in.
Scruffy Chops sell natural and organic dog shampoos and conditioners that, in their own words, work hard to help keep your dog’s skin healthy, hydrated and irritant free. Sounds pretty good, right? I was very kindly sent the Sugar Doggy shampoo and Muddy Marvellous conditioner.
The first thing I noticed was how fun the packaging is. The bright colours and fun names are very eye catching. I especially love the little dog reviews on the back of the pouches, I thought that was a really unique touch.
The smell of these are just incredible. Sugar Doggy is gorgeous and sweet and Muddy Marvellous has a fabulous cocoa butter scent which I just love. It’s nice to have bath products for the dogs that smell as good as products I would use on myself! In fact, I’m actually thinking of giving these a go on my own hair.
The consistency of each is brilliant, not at all runny which is something that annoys me about dog shampoos I’ve used in the past. There’s nothing worse than trying to keep a wriggly pup still while attempting to stop shampoo dripping off. And as I only had to use a small amount of these to get lots of bubbles they will definitely last a very long time. Both the shampoo and conditioner are also easy to rinse out, fantastic if you have a dog that’s not keen on spending too long in the shower/bath.
I am very impressed with the results. Pixie is now super soft and smells heavenly! I think this is actually the softest she’s ever been and her coat looks in such good condition even after just one use. So smooth and shiny!
You can get these products direct from Scruffy Chops and at only £5.99 for 250ml I would highly recommend that you do! Great value, fantastic quality, professional results and a very happy pup! What more could you or your furry friend want?
