Makeup Revolution: Amazing Care Lipstick Review

I’ve been wanting to include more makeup posts for quite a while and where better to start than a recent purchase from the much raved about brand Makeup Revolution!

Today I am sharing my thoughts on their Amazing Care lipstick in the shade Love Pink!

The amazing care lipstick has an intense colour core surrounded by an argan oil balm for comfort and hydration.

Love Pink is a nice mid pink shade suitable for day or evening wear.

You have to sweep this over your lips a few times to get the colour to spread evenly but when you’re done you are left with super soft and glossy lips. I was pleasantly surprised by the lasting power of this lipstick too. I wore this for a good few hours with minimal signs of wear. The balm didn’t stay glossy but the colour stays put. And it was only after eating and drinking that the colour started to fade, it did so quite evenly though which is a definite plus!

I like that this is very easy to build up if you want a bolder colour but you can also wear it quite light for a more tinted balm look, which is what I do with it.

After a few applications the colour core does disappear further down leaving just the argan oil balm. This isn’t a problem though as the balm is very good (I think they should make it available just by itself!) but applying this in the future will require using a lip brush.

If you like the lightweight feel of a balm but want more colour payoff I would highly recommend giving Makeup Revolution’s Amazing Care lipstick a try. You won’t be disappointed!
