Today I have more pretty nail decals from Born Pretty Store to share with you.

As you can see these decals are just beautiful and really detailed! I just love how intricate the designs in this set are.

I’ve been leaning towards more spring-inspired colours just recently and kept that in mind when creating this look.

I wanted this nail art to be simple and pretty so only used decals on two nails. I picked the gorgeous purple flowers to use with the lilac base.

I’m really pleased with how this turned out! I think it’s quite cute.

Leopard Print For Summer!

I think leopard print is possibly my favourite nail art. It looks great, is easy to do and there are so many variations that there’s always a new colour combination or placement to try out.

I recently did a pastel bright version using Barry M’s Gelly Paints in Prickly Pear and Greenberry and used their nail art pen to add detail.

These are two of the best Gelly shades in my opinion and they look fantastic together! Here’s my finished nail design..

To get this look I added two layers of Prickly Pear over my base coat. Once my nails were dry I sponged Greenberry onto the bottom third of each nail. I then used a dotting tool to make the spots. To use a more equal share of each polish I added spots of green where lilac was the base and lilac spots on the green. I finished the design by adding the black detail and sealing with top coat.

I don’t think I will ever get bored of leopard print nails! What do you think of this colour combination?

Summer Beaded Nail Art

I’ve used Barry M Gelly Paints in Prickly Pear and Guava with purple nail beads for decoration.

The purple and blue look fabulous together, don’t you think?

I think Guava is a really striking shade so to keep the focus on that I only did the beads on two nails. This design is great for a subtle manicure or something bolder which is why I like it so much!

Dreamcatcher

It’s been a while since I’ve shared a nail art and today I have one using some of the new polishes which I have been writing reviews on.

I attempted a new design and I have to say I am just a little proud of how well it turned out. I chose to base this look around a dreamcatcher. I wanted that to be the main focus of the design so I kept the other nails quite simple. This is the design..

What do you think?

I was unsure of trying to create a feather, I have never done it before, but I gave it a go anyway and I actually think I like it more than the dreamcatcher! I left the other nails plain in colour but used my textured polish on my little finger.

For this look I used Sally Hansen Hard On Nails in White Tip and Barry M polishes in Black, Prickly Pear, Greenberry, Satsuma and Kingsland Road.

Little Owls ♥

Today I’m sharing a cute owl nail design. :)

I chose to use our teal purple.

I’m actually quite proud of these. I think they look adorable! And they were quite easy to do! I used the side of the polish brush for the wings and a hair grip for everything else. It’s all made up of dots! I love how well the feather detail turned out. All I did was make a dot in the lighter colour then added a dot of the base colour over the top to get the half moon shape. So easy!
