Little Owls ♥

Today I’m sharing a cute owl nail design. :)

Owls 1

I chose to use our teal purple.

I’m actually quite proud of these. I think they look adorable! And they were quite easy to do! I used the side of the polish brush for the wings and a hair grip for everything else. It’s all made up of dots! I love how well the feather detail turned out. All I did was make a dot in the lighter colour then added a dot of the base colour over the top to get the half moon shape. So easy!

What do you think of my owl nails?

Polishes used: Barry M Gelly Hi-Shine Nail Paint in Watermelon, Plum and Prickly Pear. Avon Nailwear Pro+ in Lemon Sugar and Avon SpeedDry+  in Don’t Be Jaded.

Victoria Centre Christmas Lights Switch-On 2012

I haven’t posted in over a week now but thought I’d do a very quick post today to show off my sparkly nails ready for tonights Christmas lights switch-on at Victoria Centre, Nottingham.

I am very excited!! I absolutely love Christmas and this year Tina O’Brien is going to be switching on the lights. Most definitely a step up from last year when Santa did it. I do adore Santa but that was just a little disappointing! There’s also going to be some Strictly Come Dancing entertainment too. :)

These are my glittery festive nails..

I used Barry M’s Gelly Hi-Shine in Watermelon and Aqua Glitter. My nails look a little bumpy but that has nothing to do with the polish! If you’re a regular reader you’ll know how much I adore Barry M products. There is still a little bit of glue/acrylic left from when I had a full set of acrylic false nails. Most definitely won’t be doing that again!
